ARTIST STATEMENT

"Am I Dreaming?" is a series of paintings, exploring the fluid boundaries between reality and imagination. The collection takes viewers on a journey that shifts between representational landscapes and emotive abstractions, capturing moments of wonder and the thrill of the unknown.

Over the last year and a half, my personal journey has intertwined with long-held dreams and desires, while the shared reality we all inhabit continues to challenge many of my lifelong beliefs. This emotional rollercoaster prompts me to question whether I'm escaping reality to shape my ideal world or if it's a matter of perspective—always seeking a hopeful vantage point, crafting my own reality. In this exploration, I embrace the existence of multiple truths and perspectives.

"Am I Dreaming?" invites viewers to join me in questioning our reality, embracing the euphoria of possibility, and creatively considering if we might be living within a dream. Through this collection, I aim to evoke awe and playful curiosity, nurturing a deeper connection with the subconscious realms that shape our perceptions and aspirations.
